Why did you choose this type of business or craft? I became increasingly frustrated by the lack of locally produced , natural fibre products for the discerning shopper. I therefore set about sourcing and finding these gems , shining a light on their excellent work. We care about our communities as well so many of our products are community based .
What inspires you to create and develop your product range? Now that we have a foothold , it becomes easier to attract other small weavers and crafters who are looking for a voice.
Why have you chosen the suppliers you buy from? All my suppliers are unique. Mostly they hand-craft creating original items that are not mass produced. Each product is made with love.
How do you assure yourself of the ethics of the suppliers of your products? I know each one personally and it is through this personal relationship that I trust my suppliers.
Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself and your business? Buy local . support small local business. Its the only way we'll ever be able to alleviate poverty in this country.
